Leadership Coaching & Mentoring
Leadership can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging and, at times, isolating. CtG Consulting provides individualized coaching and mentoring for new and experienced educational leaders who benefit from having a trusted, experienced person to help them think through challenges, develop their leadership skills, and consider practical next steps. Support may include navigating difficult situations, continuous improvement, building positive culture and climate, working collaboratively with parents and staff, or simply having a confidential sounding board when important decisions need to be made.
Special Education & Pupil Services Consultation
Special education and pupil services can present complex challenges for schools and educational leaders. CtG Consulting provides practical support to help schools strengthen programs, improve processes, and address specific areas of concern. Consultation may include procedural compliance, IEP and evaluation practices, FBA/BIP development, program evaluation, state and federal requirements, policy and procedure development, office efficiency, or assistance working through challenging student and program situations.
Student Support Systems & Program Development
Effective student support requires more than individual interventions—it requires clear, practical systems that help staff identify concerns early and respond effectively. CtG Consulting can help schools examine and strengthen academic, behavioral, and mental health support systems, including intervention and problem-solving processes, team structures, staff roles, data use, supports for challenging students, and program development.
Training & Facilitation
CtG Consulting provides practical, engaging professional development tailored to the needs of schools and staff. Training topics may include special education, supporting challenging students, mental health supports, paraeducator development, new teacher onboarding, LEA responsibilities, and other areas related to student and staff support. With extensive experience in school-based crisis response and training, Tim is also an experienced trainer in trauma response and supporting schools following critical incidents. Training and facilitation can be customized for small teams or larger groups and offered in full-day, half-day, or shorter formats.
Parent Consultation & Educational Navigation
Navigating the educational system can be challenging for parents, particularly when a child is struggling or receiving special education or other support services. CtG Consulting provides individualized consultation to help parents better understand school processes, organize their questions and concerns, prepare for meetings, and consider possible next steps. The goal is to help families communicate effectively, participate confidently in the educational process, and work collaboratively with their child's school whenever possible.

About Tim
Experienced. Practical. People-Focused.
After more than three decades in public education, I started CtG Consulting LLC with a simple belief: experience is most valuable when you can use it to help someone else solve a problem.
I spent 33 years working as a school psychologist, special education administrator, and Director of Pupil Services. Throughout my career, the work I found most rewarding involved listening, building relationships, bringing people together, and finding practical solutions to challenging situations.
Today, I use that experience to support school leaders, public and private schools, and families. Whether I'm coaching a leader, helping a school strengthen its systems, working through a difficult student or program issue, or helping a parent better understand the educational process, my approach starts with listening and understanding the situation.
I don't believe good consulting means arriving with all the answers. It means asking the right questions, identifying gaps and strengths, and working together to develop practical solutions that fit the people and organization involved.
Based in Northeast Wisconsin, I am available for consultation, coaching, training, and project work throughout Wisconsin, both in person and virtually.
